What Should Users Know about the ChorusClass app?

In the initial stages of learning new songs, Choir members need to rehearse extensively to build sync and harmony between their parts. The more time they spend exchanging notes, the better it is for their final performance, but in today’s fast-paced world, many things can come in the way of rehearsals, prior work commitments, school work, illnesses, and whatnot. 

To help Choir members stay connected despite these inconveniences.

 Chorusclass has designed an app that helps Choir members share their songs to listen and rehearse from anywhere and everywhere. You can record your parts and label them and share them forward so that your fellow Choir members can prepare accordingly.

With the use of their multi-track recorder, you can record your part along with other instruments and music effects to help bring together parts for your team members to listen to.

You can then play around with muting and unmuting different parts to better understand your role in the song. Mute your part to know how your piece contributes to the song; you can then mute all other parts and focus on singing along with yours to focus on development and proper execution in the Chorus.

With ChorusClass, not only can you practice from any place but also practice for longer rehearsal hours. Once you have all the required parts with you, you can simply start practicing, and this is a highly convenient way of practicing in groups and improving your performance.

  • A multi-track recorder allows you to record multiple parts and instruments at the same time.
  • Under a free subscription, you can only record and practice by yourself. 
  • All your songs are saved under the “My Songs” folder, which automatically backs up your progress on its server.
  • Collaborate with your Choir members to create parts for every performer and instrument to prepare a composition you can practice with when you’re not with your team. 
  • Use the mute/unmute function to understand and practice your song better. By muting other parts, you can focus on perfecting your part by listening to it and following along.  
  • Metronome and pitch pipe are available to tune your instruments and parts.

Chorus Class offers three subscription models to all their users; all plans have specific collaborative points; you can either work on your parts or subscribe to paid subscriptions to practice in groups:

 1. Free User

  • It is entirely free to record and practice yourself.
  • A fundamental multi-track player and recorder.
  • Access to use a metronome.
  • In the “My Songs” category, you can record a maximum of three songs.
  • Only one Chorus membership is allowed.
  • Cloud backup that is automated.

 2. Plus User

Available at $3.49 / month, with this subscription, you get access to:

  • Record as many songs as you want in the “My Songs” section.
  • Membership in the Chorus is unlimited.
  • Make a loop of a song or a part of a song.
  • Reduce the volume of the tracks to half.
  • Open your music sheets if they’re pdf format by linking them to the app.

 3. Plus User

Available at $7.49 / month, with this subscription, you get access to: 

  • Same features as Plus 
  • Make as many chorus files as you want.
  • A chorus folder can have an unlimited number of members.
  • Record separate parts of the same song with other PRO users to collaborate.
  • Manage members and assign admin rights

How does ChorusClass work?

Chorus Class makes it easier for you to share audios with your choir members and rehearse even when you’re not present together. Not only does this allow you to practice for long hours, but it also lets you do the same conveniently from anywhere, be it school, home, or at work.

How does ChorusClass work
  • You can get the ChorusClass application on Google or Apple Playstore.
  • After installation, the home screen or the library is where all your choruses and songs are present.
  • To add a chorus, select “Join” under My Chorus.
  • You can now send a membership request to the Chorus folder admin and enter the group with a code.
  • Once you have the code enter it and select” Send Request.”
  • The Folder Admin will then allow your membership to confirm your entry.
  • Once you’re in, you can record your song part by part and share it with your choir. 
  • You can record the parts and then invite your friends so that they can practice as well.
  • To start practicing, select your Chorus and choose the song you’d like to practice.
  • Your screen will contain names of the soundtracks, audio playing options, and all the different parts with mute and unmute options.
  • Your songs can have several tracks; you can mute the parts you don’t want to hear when practicing and sing along. 
  • You can also collaborate with your team members to record their parts separately and send them forward to create a song.
