Interview with Shred Pillai – CEO, PayBookClub App [2023]

For someone with a degree in engineering and a lifetime in the metal industry with job opportunities from mining to canning, nothing could have been a more rewarding career.

When I ventured into reshaping Social Media as everyone’s job near me, I realized that it was even better.

As the founder and architect of Paybookclub, a Social Media Workplace, I have also discovered that Social Media can offer jobs too for everyone.  If not the same as in a government job, besides the joy of socializing, entertainment, and being informed, the content you create can also be a source of income.

Paybookclub is a user-generated content creating and monetizing platform offering users a seamless Social Media experience with an income opportunity, offering monetary rewards for everything they do while using the platform.

It is a cliche in the venture capital world that any start-up worth looking at must solve a problem for humanity.  

What about opportunities? Take for example COVID 19. How many new vaccines have been invented and produced with huge profits?

Time spent on Social Media and the content generated by Users have value and they have a right to a share of it.

Paybookclub platform is created to reward the users with that monetary share for their time and content generated to entertain and inform the rest of the world.

Social Media depends on the user’s personal data for advertising revenue while content ownership cannot be legally attributed to the user, leading to fake accounts and fake content. A unique system of registration with 3 selfies and Blockchain technology solves these issues in Paybookclub.

Paybookclub has a simple but intuitive user interface for content posting and an AI (Artificial Intelligence) based content washing system in development. For example, it can detect images you have posted before. 

Our content evaluation and support system are designed for user-determined ways of encouraging genuine content and downgrading others. The Boost button allows you to push good content you think is really worth to the top of the timeline so it gets more views and approval. As you need to spend your own money to boost someone’s post, you will recommend only the best content to the top which gets blockchain-based Intellectual Rights protection and is marketed to the world.

Paybookclub has a unique comments system that builds a comments cloud and eventually, an AI-created story and sentiment analysis to enrich the content and its value. 

The best way to maximize the value of your content and make it go viral is to be spontaneous and genuine and original with your content creation as the content washing system will detect and reject anything else. On the other hand, it will help the content provider to get maximum reward and publicity.

Our developer team led by Shashank Jain has a load of ideas about the future of the platform but we are focusing on our Content Box which is the main distribution channel for monetization of curated content. 

The boxes will be embedded in the client’s web pages and media outlets, enabling PayBookClub content to be flashed on thousands of outlets in real-time, making it the fastest way of emanating news and content based on keywords crucial to the client’s purpose. 

The inclusion of video content is the next priority, the biggest challenge being a storage. We are looking at solutions like IPFS (InterPlanetary File System).

Ten years back it might have been Sathosi Nakamoto’s White Paper and his cryptocurrency mailing list. Today it is Google for everything, not only blockchain or crypto if you know what to search for.

There is nothing like one size fits all in this case and I don’t want to mislead youngsters. There is a whole Industry out there purporting to help start-ups. It is always better to take the time and effort to do the research and make your own decisions.

Frankly, nothing in particular as I can’t think of anything I ever wanted which was denied me forever. Time has resolved them in turn, so the key is to be patient and to never regret or give up.

I hope Paybook Club will develop into the leading marketplace for content and a platform everyone will want to be part of in some way.
